Concord Orthopaedics is now offering total hip arthroplasty through the anterior muscle sparing approach. This surgical technique requires no cutting of muscle, no dislocation precautions post-operatively and a quicker return to walking without assistance of a walker, crutch or cane. Gary S. Jones, M.D., Stephen J. Fox, M.D., and Jeffrey W. Wiley, M.D. have received special training in this surgical technique and are currently doing this procedure at Concord Hospital.
