Community Involvement

Concord Orthopaedics is committed to the communities it serves. We pride ourselves on sponsoring local youth sports teams, community activities, community initiatives, and other local charities.

Noteworthy Contributions

Concord Orthopaedics supports Concord Hospital's 19 Annual Theme Event - American Bandstand, Rock Around the Clock.  This year's proceeds benefit the new Forrest D. McKerly Simulation and Education Center.  The Center will be one of the first north of Boston and will include sophisticated multi-functional technology to help prepare healthcare professionals to respond to critical care incidents and, potentially save more lives.   Concord Orthopaedics is a proud sponsor of Concord Hospital's yearly theme events.

Rock `N Race 2008 to benefit Concord Hospital's Payson Center for Cancer Care is supported by Concord Orthopaedics. We have been an ongoing sponsor of this event, recognizing the significant impact the Payson Center for Cancer Care has on the community.

The Health Education Center at New Hampshire Technical Institute was chosen by Concord Orthopaedics for a major grant in 2007 to support NHTI’s efforts to increase enrollment and quality in their nursing education program and to respond to the shortage of nurses in New Hampshire.  We recognize the need for quality nursing/health education in New Hampshire and are pleased to support NHTI in this endeavor.

Concord Orthopaedics joined Northeast Delta Dental, Citizen’s Bank, and Stonyfield Farm as a major contributor to Concord’s Express Soccer Club, supporting its efforts to build a seven-field soccer complex on the New Hampshire Technical Institute’s campus.  The dedication ceremony took place on Saturday, October 6, 2007.    As an ongoing supporter of local sports and youth events, we are proud to have been a part of this worthwhile project.

The New Hampshire Food Bank was chosen for a major contribution.  For Thanksgiving 2006 the NH Food Bank successfully distributed over 15,000 turkeys with all the fixings. This was a 25% increase over the previous year. We are proud to help in the fight against hunger in New Hampshire.
